Tina & Rosie

Tina has been riding at HH for about a year and a half, although her experience with horses began earlier—she first started riding around age 9 and has continued to build her skills over time. She enjoys focusing on improving her overall riding ability during lessons, with a particular emphasis on developing a stronger, more connected relationship with her horse. Since joining the show team in 2024, Tina has embraced every opportunity to grow, both in confidence and in her understanding of horsemanship.

This past season, Tina rode Rosie, a horse who has become especially meaningful to her. Although their partnership didn’t come easily at first, Tina worked hard to build trust and connection, and Rosie has since become her favorite. She values the process of bonding with her horse and learning how horses respond to specific cues and movements, recognizing how intelligent and responsive they are. One of her favorite parts of being on show team is this mutual learning process, along with spending time in an environment she loves, surrounded by friends and horses.

Looking ahead, Tina hopes to continue showing Rosie this season and to keep strengthening their partnership. Her goals include continuing to improve her riding skills, deepening her understanding of horse behavior, and building on the progress she has already made. With a strong appreciation for the journey and a genuine love for the sport, Tina is excited for another season of growth, learning, and time spent doing what she loves most.
